Subject: Re: Saab 9-5 wagon vs. V70 Volvo

I have a 1990 Volvo wagon, and a 1992 saab 9000. The Saab is a great car when everything works. The problem is that there is always something breaking down. My Saab only has 42k miles, and has had the air conditioning break down at least three times. Radiator has been replaced. The muffler has been replaced. The transmission has been replaced. Those are only things that come immediately to mind. There is much much more. Plus as an added bonus, if you breakdown out of town, you'll have a hard time getting parts and/or service. I know this from experience as well. The Volvo has been much more reliable, and there are many more locations to get service. Sincerely, Tom E.
