I have a 1991 900i 4dr with the alpine tuner/tape/cdchanger and the alpine 3510s amplifier (apparently). Trouble is I can't find the amplifier and I am worried that it has been removed. What got me looking for it is that if I want to use the radio, I have to have it on when I start the car. If the car is started with the radio off, there is no sound if I then turn it on. Also there is a pronounced right channel bias such that the balance has to be turned way over to the left to get equal sound from both sides of the car.
