Thanks. > question is it 16 valve? > if it is it can possibly be valve stem rubbers leaking which will give you oil in the cylinders first thing!!! 2nd if is not 16 valve then check fuel mixture from cold,excessive fuel mixture will cause blue smoke as it is washing the bore. 3rd head gasket leaking oil from the oil way closet to the cluch no 4 cylinder.this will not leak oil when running some times but when the engine is switched off the oil from the cam area runs back downand weaps in to cylinder. 4 turbo impeller seal leaking leaking oil when switched off 5 check oil breather valve in top of cam cover.a modified breather pipe can be fitted coloured gray which does stop smoking
