I'm considering purchase of a 9-5, mostly because Saab particiaptes in the GM employee discount plan. Also because I'm growing tired of the same old GM domestic fare. Sure, they are nice cars, especially if you've driven GM fore the last 20 years. My problem is justifying the $10,000+ higher price tag. Since I know little of Saab, I have some questions: 1) The dealer can get near my price range if I lease. However it is a 51 month lease, longer than I would like. Has anyone had any Saab leasing experience? 2) ON average, what percentage of original value do Saab vehicles retain after 5 years? 3) What has been your average annual repair costs? 4) How do the vehicles hold up in mostly city driving (30% highway miles)? 5) What is it you like about Saab compared to other imports? I appreciate any information you can share. jiminy
