How can I diagnose which one and how to correct My clutch on my 1984 900 S started acting up about a month ago. For a longer while it made whirring noises sometimes (bearing?), then starting "grabbing" closer and closer to the floor, then stopped disengaging. Fluid was fine etc. I ended up having my Saab Specialist replace it for $497. I like to work on my car, but I didn't have the time. Now I have a brand new clutch that works great. Sorry I don't have an answer to your diagnosis problem, but I'm related to your clutch difficulties. -johnw -- john s. webster the vortext group -- writing svcs. 218 waterman st. #306c providence, rhode island 02906 phone/fax: (401) 273-5567 email: jwebsnopsam.net ---------------------------------------------
