Subject: Wandering Saab

The steering in my 86 900 8v (100k miles)has been growing less precise than I'm used to. Driving down the road, it seems like slight steering corrections (that keep the car going straight) don't affect the direction of the car immediately the way they should. The car feels like it's wandering. I've checked the suspension found no loose connections, there's no unusual tire wear, and the wheels are on tight. My question: is this an indication of worn ball joints; shocks; alignment? Any suggestions? Thanks. Greg Youngen St.Joseph, IL
