Subject: Re: Turbo vs. V6

A weak point with all V6 (and V8 for that matter) is the additional weight on the front wheels. This is the reason why for many cars with both 4:s and 6:s, the ones with the 4:s are the better sports cars, due to better weight distribution and handling. (e.g. Alfa Romeos, Saabs ... ) If you look at the specification of the 9-5 V6 and the old 200 hp 2.3 T they seem identical, apart from the fact that the 4 is stronger on low revs... The "only" good thing you get with a 6 cyl is the nicer sound and less vibrations. (but old Saab turbos sound like V8 to me and the balance shafts in the 2.3 reduces vibrations) Jan Soderberg mhangnopsamassnet.com wrote in message <38331B70.3E8F9CE6nopsamassnet.com>... >Which is better? > >95 900SE >
