I have a 97 NG900 turbo. The car really comes alive above 3000 rpms. If you like to drive in the 'fun zone,' an automatic will try to fight you all the way. Recently my dealer gave me a 9-3 auto loaner. It was a nice family car, but nowhere near as fun w/o the manual.
