Continue this into the future and it won't know when 1/1/2000 or 2/29/2000 or 1/1/3000 or 1/1/10000 ever happen. If, somewhere in the bowels, there is the notion of "date", and it doesn't know what "today" is, it's year indicator can roll over just fine without implication. If it doesn't know, it doesn't care. -chris
