I moved from Canada to Tampa a year ago with my 97 NG900. Stick with the recommended service intervals in your manual and you should be fine. I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic and have had no problems. You will have to wax your car more frequently and armor all the outside plastics. The hot sun tends to oxidize paint and plastic faster. Also the best thing I have done has been to tint the windows - the air conditioning works a lot better and the tan on my left arm now matches my right! Surprisingly, I've been thankful for the seat heaters on cold ('60 degree) days. I guess my blood has thinned. Cheers, Alex PS.
