Subject: Re: Sonett Gear Oil?

The "EP" designation stood for Extreme Pressure. Before that it was known as "Hypoid" gear oil (hypoid gears are tough on oil). the general translation is what ever is the best you can buy . Today that is clearly Mobil 1 75-90w. Not cheap but neither is a rebuild. hyperdog JLBeeler wrote in message ... >Does anybody know of a specific gear oil for the Sonett III? NAPA has a catch all SAE 80w-85w-90 oil. What >is the best to use? > >Jack Beeler >http://beta.communities.msn.com/SAABSonettIIIClub/homepage > >
