This comes in a spray can and the grease goes "sticky" after it's sprayed. It's pretty good stuff and seems to last ok. You should be able to get it from any motor factors and or motorbike shop. Don't spray the felt channels though, the windows seem to slow down stop due to the mechanism in the door siezing up and or the motor. THe procedure I have used is as follows: Remove door trim. and innner plastic guard. Lubricate the mechanism and run it up and down afew times. If it is better then its the mechanism. Howvever if it's still slow, stopping it's probably the motor. So you have to get the motor out.... Lower wind slighty, remove srews from bottom of glass. Undo all the bolts holding the mechanism to the door, fiddle about with it to get the bugger out, ie use the motor to move it about. Remove from door and unplug motor. Remove motor from mechanism. Plug it back in to the electrics, works? If so it's the mechanism still which may need a good clean and re-lube. Motor slow, gives up? Probably the gear spindle partly siezed. Carefully file the three studs off the back so you can lever the plate off. Use a punch (old bolt) drive the spindle out. Clean etc. Watch how the drive works, rubber damping block etc. Putting back together isn't too bad. Clamp the plate back onto the motot then CAREFULLY drill through the holes and pop-rivet and or use self tapping screws to put back on, alittle silicon sealer aroung the face will keep any water etc out. Use either Moly grease and or the chain lube again. Sounds complicated, but when you find out the cost of a Motor from Saab it's worth the effort. If you want more info post again Good Luck Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
