Subject: Stumbling 9000s



My 1989 9000s is stumbling once or twice in a mile.  I have replaced plugs,
distributor cap and rotor, and wires.  I suspect it is vacuum related but I
can't find the problem.  The check engine light comes on and then goes out
when I back off the throttle.  The shift up light comes on also even if I am
already in 5th.  Any ideas?
