Subject: Classic 900 SPG OR Commemorative Edition

Folks, I'm on the lookout to buy a 1989 to 1993 SPG or a Commemorative Edition, Classic Saab 900. I did some research on the Saabnet and Turbo pages but still have some doubts as to which is better, the SPGs or the Commemorative Editions. Also, I did see some advertisements for 1994 Commemorative Editions. I was under the impression that the 1993 was the last year for the 900 Classic model and 1991 was the last year for SPGs. I lost out on a Auction bid for a 1991 900 Turbo, Black, 5speed, with power sunroof and special 3spoke alloy wheels. It sure seems like a SPG and I'm still cursing myself for not bidding high enough. Is there any visual clue or VIN # hint that can identify a SPG or Commemorative Edition?
