Doc, I know what you mean, I have a 95 900 SE conv and must replace 3 wheels. I live in the NYC metro area and due to the condition of the roads I have had to replace numerous tires and now these rims. I don't think it is due to any fault of the rims themselves, perhaps it's due to a lack of tire pressure. I fill the tires periodically but not regularly.
