Query, my radiator fan works okay on my 88 9kt, but could this sensor be malfunctioning, not permitting my AC compressor to come on, yet still work the radiator fan? I ask because 1) the service manual shows it to be hooked into the AC compressor; 2) one lead to the sensor is obviously heat damaged (i.e. from internal heat); 3) the compressor does not come on.
