I don't know if this is the exact problem you are having, but it sounds similar to a problem I had. There's a connector plug under the driver's seat that gives power to both power seats. The plug is removable and so it can slip out. Mine did and it took me a while to figure that out. When the connector was loose or completely unplugged, the seats made a rapid clicking sound from time to time. The plug is directly under the front edge of the driver's seat and if it is loose or completely unplugged just tighten it or reinsert it in and it should work.
