Subject: Tires for '90 900 SPG stick with 205/55VR15 or change back to 195/60VR15.

For the past three years I've run Pirelli P5000's in their 205/55VR15 form and have been very happy with their performance in both wet and dry. I believe the short tire wall in the 205/55s has increased the roughness of ride a little over the 195/60's as the suspension on the SPG is very stiff. I am considering going back to the stock 195/60VR15 tires as they are considerably cheaper and I don't tend to drive as hard as I used to. Just looking for any insight as to how much this will affect the car's handling, braking and overall feel... The extra 2cm clearance might help me get into my driveway hopefully too... Any comments welcome, thanks in advance... Gerard 1990 900 Aero(SPG) 1985 900 Aero(SPG) (sold) 1984 900 Turbo (deceased) 1983 900 Gli (deceased) 1974 99 Combi Coupe (sold)
