Hi, I recently bought a 1992 Saab 9000 CD (non-turbo) automatic. It was checked by a Saab mechanic and was said to be in excellent condition. It seems nearly new, cosmetically at least. I drive around town and get about 12.2 MPG. I know the car is heavy, but this seems too low. I had the oxygen sensor checked, by having the 02 and emissions levels checked, and everything looked normal -- no excessive emissions, no odd 02 levels, no 'check engine' lights, etc. The tires are not stock -- they're 205x50's instead of 195x50's, but I don't think this should make a big difference... or would it? Any idea what I can do to improve the mileage of this car? Thanks! ***************************** I DO NOT want unsolicited e-mail & I will bill you for it.
