Dear abc (hiding from spammers?) The MSRP price for a base 9-5 Wagon is around $32,000. We got a Sienna LE with many options for $23,000. Both are FWD, but the Sienna is mini-van with its advantages (space) and disadvantages(handling). But, if driven carefully, a mini-van is perfectly safe. The Volvo V70 FWD runs around $29,000 with the XC model going anywhere from $36,000 to $41,000. One thing you should think about. You obviously are looking for cargo capacity, since you are looking at wagons and min-vans. The V70 has less cargo space than the 9-5 . The Sienna with the third seat folded has less space than the 9-5 without the seat folded down. If you remove the third seat in the Sienna, then you get more useable space. So don't automatically think a mini-van will give you more useable space than a wagon. Currenly owing a Volvo wagon, a Saab and the Sienna, I can say that the Saab is more fun and much easier to park. You did not say what car you are currently driving, but try the Saab on the snow and ice. It is fun and amazing easy to control. With Pirelli tires on my Saab I have gone up hills passing four-wheel drive SUV with all four wheel spinning.
