<Snip> Well in cold and damp Scotland..... No, actually seems odd, but is the heatshield/battery clamp still there? As far as the corrosion is concerned, to stop or reduce the corrosion try smearing pertoleum jelly, (known as vasaline over here) on the terminals after cleaning them up. Hot start problems maybe exasibated by a dodgy battery, but is more likely that the fuel injection wants looking at, assuming the car has it. Hope this helps, MAlc Scotland (Actually quite sunny, but cold today) Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
