Subject: Re: coolant under the dash

You īre sure itīs coolant ?? - canīt that be just (very) cold condensed water? Does it run out of the ventilation bar under the dash? If that happens, stop the car, open the hood and have a close look into your evaporator box on the right hand side right below the windsreen (where the slots are at the hood). Is it full of condensed water? Then (and I think so) youīre lucky!!! Take a water hose and fill the evaporator box, turn in the steering complete to the left (I believe it was on the right, but I may be wrong..) and look at your wheel housing on the right side. Thereīs a rubber "pipe" drain close to the axe. If thereīs little or no water coming out, pull on the flexible lower rubber part and try to get all the mud out. When itīs free, all the water comes out there and your foots will be dry for the next 10 years... It would be wise to rins all the drains (door aera)...
