Always let it unwind before it shuts off.. You may find your to late- the engine oil cools the center section of the turbo. If it has had a history of direct shut downs you may have a cloged oil chamber. Your imminant turbo failure is in your future. Another cause of over heated is a run away injector running extremly rich hydro carbon mixture into the turbo on the exhaust side.
