Subject: Re: FWD or RWD?

I have a choice between a '86 Saab 900 and an '82 Volvo 245. When the weather is good, I drive the Volvo. This is for several reasons, one it is a turbo and it has no rust. I want to keep it that way. When the weather is bad, ice, snow, rain - I drive the Saab. It handles these conditions better, which is what you want to know. However, the direct result of driving the Saab in wet, salty conditions is that the Saab is a rust bucket. I am looking to replace it this year, only because it is falling apart from rust.
