Subject: Re: How do I reset Radio after dead battery?

<Snip> Curt, To clear an incorrect code you will have to disconnect the power again. If you don't have the code you can try the following: Contact the previous owner, see if they know it. Contact the dealer who sold the car, they may have records Failing this you can take the radio out, sometimes the code is put on it, not a good idea, but it happens. Finally you can do what I had to do which was to take it to a specialist radio shop who re-chipped it for me with a new code. Cost 30 pounds, about 45 US dollars. Hope this helps Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
