I have an '86 900 and the Recaro seat adapter plus seat dropped right in place. I am not sure how much the seat base changed between the 99 and the 900, but someone told me the 900 was nothing more than an extended 99 to hold the air conditioner for the U.S. market. You could contact Recaro to see if they still over adapter brackets for the 99. I had the parts and price list that would have given me the information you need, but I can't find it.
