The point I am trying to make about the manual is that it only skims the surface, covering information that anyone who is willing to work on a car as intricate as a SAAB would allready know, when you get to the stage in the job that you need proper information, the manual just tells you to refer the job to your dealer. If I wanted to take my car to the dealer all the time I wouldnt have bought the manual in the first place. I am not knocking Haynes manuals in general, the manual I have for the 90/99/900 is very usefull and informative, and is the one that I use when working on the 9000 at least for common parts, engine, APC, ignition, etc. I was dissapointed when buying the 9000 manual as Haynes seem to have changed the format, in my opinion for the worse.
