My Croma was the 87 CHT model, low power, high torque 2.0 engine. You just floored it and let the car decide what it wanted to do. However, The brakes was not up to performance driving though, but this was the basic model. After ten years my Croma was still in good condition; the galvanised body was rust free. The Problem for Fiat was that the car lacked image for this class of car and in later years it was only sold in italy (maybe I am wrong).
