Dared to buy a 164 at last!(after having recieved some reliable information from nice people on where to find cheaper spare parts) Seems to be in good mechanical condition, in spite of 10 years and 180,000 kms, I just wish they had spent some more effort on some of the details. Am very pleased with the car this far. Not as fast the Bmw I had before, but I would say it handles better; feels safer on winter roads, and is more predictive and more distinct in its behavior. (managed to do something stupid just an hour after buying the car. Both the brakes and the handling are very distinct it seems : ) Compared to my friends 9000 today, and I have to agree with you who said the difference is big. 9000s are pretty neat in higher speeds, but sometimes they feel a little bit like a locomotive, big and heavy. The 164 is more direct in its behavior. But of course, in the 9000 I have room for both of my legs, which is kind of an advantage... A last stupid question: Any ideas on the possibilities of using Chroma parts in a 164? They seem to be more common on the car scrapyards than 164 / Per
