Subject: Re: LOST BRAKES COMPLETLY

<Snip> Brad, Sounds like the seals in your brake master cylinder. No they are not the same, although they share the same reservior. When you bled the clutch did you let the reservior go dry? If so air could of gotten in the braking system. Was the brake pedal firm until it went to the floor? Yes - then it's definitely pointing to the seals. No - was it "spongy" or soft then there may of been air in the system. You can get exchange/reconditioned master cylinders from non-saab suppliers in the uk.(Partco, Dingbro etc)This may be an easier option than taking the whole thing to bits to change the seals as the bore could be scored or damaged in some way so you would have to change it anyway. Another option is to get one from a scrap yard and rebuild that one then swap them over. Hope this helps Good luck Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
