Hi All, After blowing out a CV joint, I brought my car into the shop for a new muffler. There has been an odd clunk in the front end ( Both sides, over bumps ) for a while so I asked them if they could look it. They did and said that it was probably the shock bushings. They were original euipment and I got 124,000 out of them , so I got a set of KYB's for the front. Most the noise is gone now. Car feels super! Heres the question: My steering rack leaks like a sieve and it is due to be replaced next week. But I just noticed that when I am turning to the right and either level or going down a hill I get a distinct "Knock" ( or firm thump ) from somewhere around the drivers side wheel. I think this was there before, but I never heard it over the muffler and other bup noises. Could this be caused by the steering rack? Or is this something else? has anyone else ever had this sysmptom? It only happens going downhill and turning or on level ground, never when going uphill. Odd huh? Thanks in advance. Rob
