I have a 90 9000 T16, so I'm assuming your car has the same electronic AC unit (with the AUTO, ECON and OFF buttons). If so, have you done the self-test ? If not do this : with the car running press the AUTO and the bottom right button at the same time (this may not work the first time, try again); when you succeed a zero will appear in the temperature display; the unit will perform a series of tests and at the end, just before displaying the set temperature again, it will show the number of faults. If not zero you may have some problem in the AC controller or in some servo. If so have it checked. On the other hand I have a much funnier problem: with the car parked (locked, no key in the ignition) sometimes the AC starts all by itself and in the process triggers the alarm. It happens about 2-3 times a year, mostly in winter and always when or after raining. Back to you, does it blow full force no matter what the set temperature is ? If so my GUESS would be that either the temperature sensor or the AC controller is faulty. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network *The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
