Subject: Re: Brakes Too Poweful !

What were you driving before? Everything is relative as I have driven Lincolns which had really sensative brakes and Ford pickups where I got a real leg workout pushing the clutch and the brake pedals. Without a baseline of your experience it is difficult to tell if you have a problem with brake system. I brake by resting my heel on the floor and pushing with the ball of my foot, similar to the way I work the gas pedal. I have no problems stopping on wet or icy roads in an '86 900 without ABS, applying the brakes this way.
