I blew an 9000 Aero up, I was racing it at the time, pulling about 7500rpm in third gear, loud bang lots of smoke, one of the crankshafts ended up through the cover and a piston through the block. Really annoying ting was that it happened on lap 18 of a 20 lap race. It had been pulling like a nutter all through the race, was in fourth place. If you want speed and performance don't by an automatic. If you want easy refined driving get an auto. If you get an Aero, don't go out for quite drives in te country, you'll end up thrasing it around laned till the bonnet glows like the space shuttle on re-entry Jarkko Sutinen <s157431nopsamfa.cc.tut.fi> wrote in message news:8ae33j$i8l$1nopsamr.cc.tut.fi... > I have been thinking about buy Saab 9000.
