The are major differences between the suspensions of the two cars. The SE has a sports turned suspension. The shocks and springs are much more stiff than the S, also there are pretty hefty sway bars in the front and rear of the car (this is what helps keep the car flat in turns). Not to mention the SE also has 205/50ZR16s (155mph+), these make a huge difference in handling. When I got new tires this past summer the shop put 205/55R16 S rated tires (108mph). It felt like I was driving a boat, I had the tires replaced with ZR's within a few days, much better. I have driven many nice cars over the past few year, from low end jettas, to audi's to porshces, next to the porsche's, the Saab 900SE handles the best (plus there is great deal of cargo space. As far as the turbo thing goes, you should let it warm up before use and cool do for a minute after. But this is my second turbo car and I have never had a problem. Turbo technology has come a long way in the past few years, they are just as reliable as any other engine. The only time you have problems with turbo's is when you put one on a car that is not designed for it. Old Chrystler LeBaron's used the same engine for turbo and non-turbo versions. They would blow heads gaskets once a year if not more. Clive Wilson <clivenopsamyday.demon.co.uk> wrote in message news:clive-0903002214100001nopsamyday.demon.co.uk... > The 900SE handles better?
