If you suspect your timing chain may be loose, you could have that replaced, but there's really no need to unless you've had problems with it before. You could have the lifters replaced, or if your head has the internal oil passages, you could replace those. If you wanted, you could do a ring job on the cylinders, or just replace them entirely.
