Subject: Headlights vs. Running Lights



OK, guys, bear with me. On my 2000 9-5 SE there are switch positions for
"running lights" and "headlights." Either switch keeps the headlights on at
all times. Only when the switch is on "headlights" can I engage the
high-beams (I can flash them with the switch in either position, but they
will stay on only in the "headlights" position).

Question: which position do most savvy nospamuse . . . and why?
