I guess the obvious point wasn't so obvious, to me anyway. You mean the outer piston is supposed to *move*? Therein, I believe, lies the problem. Upon further investigation, the inner pistons do seem to be frozen. Looks like calipers are in order. This is my first brake job, on a SAAB, btw... Thanks for the help. I'll let you know what I find after I open them up.
