Personally, I'd drain it and put in engine oil. ATF has a much higher detergent content than regular oil. However, the manual has no filter so there is nowhere for the suspended crud to go. It is also a little more abrasive. That probably explains the flecks on your dipstick. Paul (Remove "spamthis" to reply)
