I had a problem with the switch for the main cooling fan. I twould stick in the closed position, draining the battery in short order. After I got tired of unplugging it from the circuit and th ewarmeing weather, I told he dealer to take a hike when they wanted $35 for the part plus labor to replace it. The part was $14, but the catch was that it requires a 29mm _deep_ socket to remove. Fortunately, the Home Depot tool guy remembered that the plumbing section had these tools for large nuts on faucets. they came as a kit for $24 and are graduated in 1/32", so a 1-5/32 was close enough. O.K. so I _did_ spend a little more, but I get some tools out of it and didn't pay 50 or 60 bucks in labor for the simple job.
