Subject: Clunk on taking up drive



Hi
My '92 9000 Carlsson, has developed a light 'Clunk' which occurs sometimes
when I takeup the drive. It is not always there, but can occur when
releasing the clutch in (seemingly) any gear.

It appears to be coming from the front left wheel (mine is a right
hand-drive).

Does anyone have any ideas?? Is it likely to be the wheel?? or
gearbox/clutch?? I do occassionally get a grinding sound when on a
right-hand lock.

What should I look out for on my '9000 2.3 Carly with 144k on it (but FSH)
