Leave the sunroof on "tilted up" when parked to let he hot air rise out or better yet, get a windscreen for the sunroof and leave the roof open a few inches - not past the end of the windscreen. That way people can't really tell it's open and it provides greater air circulation. I hate to use air condition but I also hate having my hair look really bizarre after driving, so a hint is to open the front passenger window X inches and open your rear driving side window X inches also and your hair won't look really funny when you park (ok, this isn't alt.autos.saabs.beauty-tips but I hate showing up at a client in the summer with a surfer hair-do). The tip that the other poster recommended about idling shortly when you park is good too because also the fan inside won't suck on your battery while it's cooling itself if the car is on for a little when you park. I personally love driving with all windows and roof open when it's hot here. It inspires me to get pulled over more frequently but it feels great. Enjoy. saab.net
