Subject: Re: Ride quality?

If the Saab is annoying you, give it to someone who appreciates and understands Saabs. A soft comfy ride and performance handling tend to be mutually exclusive. If you want the soft ride get a Toyota Camry - these are good cars with a good reputation, not a sporty one, but still good overall basic transportation. The Saab is more of a performance car, as you have found out the hard way, literally. Perhaps you should have been more diligent when you test drove the car. You should have noticed these traits during the test drive. Hopefully, you will come to appreciate the road feedback the Saab provides. When the roads are wet and slippery, this feedback can save you life. You will know if the tires are loosing traction and if the car is starting to slide.
