Subject: Re: Gas mileage?

I have old 9000 Turbo with automatic. This winter the gas mileage is 11,4 litre per 100 km in short city driving (about 13 km) Last winter which was very hard here in Finland the mileage was same. Summertime it is about 8,5 litre per 100 km in highway at speed 100...120 km/h. I have ACC and it takes about 1,0 litre per 100km, but it includes to those values. I made some calculations and my opinion is your mileage shoud be about 0,6...0,7 gallon per 12 miles in city driving. (14 litre per 100 km is told in my driver's handbook the worst case!) One gallon per 12 miles is absolutely too much!! Tuomo >I have a '99 9-5 automatic and am wondering what the "normal" gas mileage would >be in city driving. I've only been getting about 12 miles per gallon (!).
