A/C work sucks these days. it is so expensive. two option s on the condenser: - find a radiator shop that is willing to weld it. They do this all the time with radiators but many radiator shops will hesitate to fix a condenser since they are a little bit smaller. - find a used one. either a local junkyard or mail order junkyards. as far as the pipes go, take the old ones to a good A/C shop that rebuilds them. the rebuild cost is about 1/2 of a new one and is usually better quality. (when they rebuild the A/C pipes they clean and inspect the copper parts and install fresh barrier tubing for the rubber parts. They do an excellent job, and it fits exactly. I would guess $100us for a used condenser and about $80us per hose for rebuild (depending on its size ... I have paid as much as $160 for a hose from a Chrysler van with dual A/C) * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
