The tie rod ends are really easy to change in a Saab (both inner and outer). It'll save you ALOT of money if you do it yourself. Just don't forget to get an alignment. The belts aren't that hard to change. Each accessory has a pivot bolt and a tension bolt. Loosen the pivot bolt and then let out the tension bolt until you can get the belt off. Then reverse the procedure to reinstall. The only really hairy one is the alternator. It has two belts and the bolt are difficult, but not impossible, to get at. Also, Saab uses rubber mountings on the accessories, so the belts will never seem "perfectly" tight. Just use your best judgement. Paul (Remove "spamthis" to reply)
