I have 2 SAABs, a 1986 900s and a 1994 900s V6. I absolutely love both cars but the V6 is definately a better highway car. It has lots of passing power and has proved very reliable for me. I drive alot as part of my job ( sales rep for an optical instrument) and since I actually enjoy driving the car it makes my job alot easier. With snow tires it is unbeatable in the Winter here in Canada. As far as maintenance goes I have replaced the thermastat, changed oil, fixed stone chips in the windshield, bought winter tires, replaced the washer fluid pump, had the timing belt redone under warrenty although no problem had surfaced it is recommended every 60K and SAAB pays for the first 3. Very cheap car to run and excellent performance. As an upgrade I added a K&N sports filter and a PVI kit.
