Subject: 88 900i Engine Checks

Hi, My 1988 900i is driven hard on a regular basis, up to and sometimes above (if I forget to set the rev limiter) 6000rpm. I would just like to point out that this is on a track and not on the road. So far everything is holding together well. I change the oil every 1000 miles, along with the coolant and other such fluids, the gearbox oil is changed every 3000 miles. The car is running as standard except for custom spring top cups, which lower the car approx 9mm at the front in order to level it and a set of light alloy wheels. Can anyone tell me any things I should check or things which should be replaced on a Saab driven as this one is. Thanks for any help you can offer. Matt
