If you are here in the States, I recommend Berryman B-12 Spray Carb and Choke Cleaner to clean your throttle body/plate. You can find it at Walmart, Kmart, AutoZone and PepBoys. It is safe for O2 sensors and catalytic converters. I do not recommend Gumout Carb and Choke Cleaner. The last can I read said not to use with fuel injected cars. The Berryman's is very similar to Berkibiles Gumcutter 2+2 and BG throttle body cleaner. If you read the ingredients they are almost identical. Remove the air supply boot from your throttle body. Work the throttle plate manually with your hand. You can use an old toothbrush to scrub inside and an old T-Shirt to wipe it will be good. Your car will start hard at first, but after will be okay. I clean the throttle body on my 87 9000S about once every three to four months. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
