Subject: Re: Cleaning throttle body

Hi The best way to clean the throttle valve is to first remove the Air Mass Meter to gain access to it. Then using a can of carb cleaner and an old toothbrush give it a really good clean . Make sure you turn the valve from the outside so as to clean both sides and the edges of the butterfly valve. The valve should be absolutely spotless. FYI the O2 sensor is located in the exhaust near the manifold, nowhere near the throttle valve.
